Choose the tool around your campaign.
An advocacy widget brings a campaign action into an existing page. AdvocacyLift hosts the tool; your organization adds its installation code to the website. You can customize your message and colors in the online builder.
- District ($39/year) helps supporters find representatives by ZIP code and use your caller script. Your organization supplies its own 5 Calls API key.
- Focus ($59/year) connects a campaign topic with available committee roles and bill connections. Review coverage and contact evidence before subscribing.
- Rally ($59/year) collects email-confirmed petition signatures for organizer export and delivery. One website plan covers unlimited petitions and includes hosted petition pages.
Each plan is annual and registered to one website. You can preview a draft before paying; publication requires an active subscription.
Check your website’s HTML permissions first.
Your page editor must preserve custom HTML and permit the loading script. Access may depend on your website plan, user permissions, and security settings. A block that displays ordinary HTML does not necessarily allow scripts.
WordPress, Squarespace, and Webflow have ways to add custom code, subject to their current plans and permissions. Wix HTML components commonly run inside an iframe, which needs extra compatibility testing with the website restriction. Check the platform-specific installation notes before subscribing. If your site strips scripts, contact your web administrator rather than disabling site-wide security protections.
Make a preview that fits the page.
Match the widget’s colors to your site, write a clear headline, and place the action near the story that explains it. A supporter should know what you are asking and why before seeing a contact result or signing form.
For District and Focus, add a short caller script. For Rally, prepare your organizer name, petition text, and organization privacy-policy link. Review the mobile preview and any data-coverage notes in the builder.
Subscribe, publish, and copy the complete code.
When the preview is ready, subscribe through Stripe and return to your account. Payment confirmation activates the plan. Publish your draft and copy the complete installation code supplied by the builder or account.
Paste the code into a custom HTML or code block on the registered website. Include both the container and loading script. Add it once, save the page, and open the published page to test. An editor preview may treat scripts differently from the public website.
The code is tied to the paid widget and registered website. Do not copy another organization’s widget code or put a private API key in page source. District’s 5 Calls key belongs in the secure builder connection, not in your embed code.
Check the real experience before launch.
- Open the published page on desktop and mobile. Check that the widget fits without horizontal scrolling.
- For District or Focus, review representative contacts, coverage notes, and the caller script. Confirm that contact links make sense for your campaign.
- For Rally, use an email address you control to test signing and confirmation. Check your privacy-policy link and the organizer’s export view.
- If nothing loads, check the saved code, registered website address, active subscription, and any script-blocking website settings.
Manage the hosted widget from your AdvocacyLift account. If you need help, send support your public page URL and the product name. Leave passwords, private API keys, and payment details out of your message.
